Mazda re coated courtesy of the insurance company

This client had his car coated about 16 months ago and was one of the last we did with c Quartz finest. After a small collision he needed to get the car re coated . Since we can no longer offer finest we chose Gyeon MOHs. As you know no matter how carefully the car is masked, overspray gets everywhere. So after explaining the process to the adjuster, they agreed to pay for removal of finest and the re coat.
i bring this up as this is the fifth one we have re coated due to accidents. The clients love it and we gain more business. So those who offer coatings may want to keep this in mind!

Nice work !!

How hard is it to polish off old coating? Since I gotta do mine soon. (since a distributer doesn't keep his word, not looking forward to it)

Compound and polish will work fine, you will notice a color change from panel to panel, as for the distributor, I don't want to know! LOL!

You wont have any problems, start with a polish and see, if you have to bump it up. That paint on those things is hard as stone, you won't hurt it.

Interesting, I coated a SCAT pack challenger at the start of summer. He just got side swiped, insurance is paying to recoat it as well!

That's great that insurance covered the coating. I can see that as an incentive for an upsell into a coating. Do they have to be notified after the coating is installed with a receipt?

Nice! I have another re-coat job from the insurance coming up in 2 weeks. It's nice seeing that the insurance companies are working with installers too and they were even familiar with the coating, probably from a previous one I did. State Farm has been great to work with a didn't give me or the owner any hassle. All I had to do was submit an estimate to them.
