Max Wax after 3 MONTHS with NO maintenance

Three months ago, I complete a full compound (1&Done) and waxing (To The Max Wax) of my niece`s Kia Soul. I was left unattended with it yesterday, and my wife "volunteered me" to do a maintenance wash. This was it`s FIRST wash for three months, so I got to see how well (or not) the Max Wax did under a worst-case scenario.

But of course, having OCD, I couldn`t leave it at "JUST" a wash, take a look.

I polished my girlfriend`s car and used MaxWax to see how it would work out. Her car sits outside and is never washed. After two weeks, the rain was beading on it, but it wasn`t rolling off like when it was first applied. I`ll have to try washing it and see if it comes back to life. I`ve heard Flex Wax works a bit better than the Max Wax.

My Camaro sat outside ONE night (during a rain) while I was detailing my niece`s Civic, which was in the garage. When I rinsed it down (the Camaro) to give it a wash, the hood wasn`t beading at all - despite the multiple applications of the Ceramic/Graphene Paste Wax. It had been partially parked under a tree. I did the wash, paying special attention to the hood, and when I rinsed to soap off, it was beading like crazy again.

So all it took was a few short hours being under a tree and a light rain, to cover my hood in sap and kill the beading.
