Markings from where compound was

I was using 3m perfect rubbing compound with the pc to get some swirls out. I used it as the videos have shown. Did a 2x2 foot section, started at 1 to spread it, moved to 3, then moved to 6.



But I took the polish off with a MF towel, and now the part that I did has a haze, or something to it. You can cleary see a difference, and its not a good one. Did I do something wrong?
 
I think it's common that when people use polish/compounds, the product isn't broken down enough, hazing and halos usually occur.



Usually, there shouldn't be anything to wipe off other than dust after you're done with a panel. If you have a surface that looks like you're removing wax, then you haven't buffed enough.
