....were you people ever right about megs ultimate QD ! remember my raves about long haul? Well, i still insist the shine it put on my car is one that i haven't seen since it was new. But it's not all that slick and it leaves a haze in spots that you have to look out for in the right light and rub off. So it's not perfect, but the shine is, at least on my car.
Enter the $10 bottle of megs UQD.....holy fruck ! Not only is the shine the only QD that i've used which matches the long haul, but 1)-i think it's even shinier, 2)-it's as slick as anything and slicker than most, 3)-it goes on and off w/o any haze or leaving anything like that. note however in sun it's unusable. At least for me.
I only tried this stuff because as much as i liked LH, i was getting tierd of finding hazy spots i'd missed a day after i QD'd it. so i thought *** when i saw the megs at AZ. Figured it's worth a shot.
But heres what i love about it....it seems as tho it leaves a coat of plastic on the paint. Almost like you just sprayed a fresh 10 coats of clear lacquer on it. And if you recall i said that the long haul gave an incredible shine to my car but looked no better than any other QD on my more prized vehicle.......my bike. I guess it has to do with colors, but my "graphite" colored metallic car looked awesome while my blue metallic bike with black fenders and tank accents looked just ok. Well, i did my bike with the megs, paint AND chrome and the result was orgasmic. Even what it does for the chrome was amazing.
This stuff is one of those rare products that comes out and totally up's the ante in it's field. I don't use the boutique products many of you use, so i don't know about those QD's. But nothing off the shelf at the chains like pep boy, auto zone, etc, comes close to this stuff. I would call it phenomenal. The only thing that remains to be seen is longevity, and from what i've heard here so far i think thats already a given. I'm just crossing my fingers that we don't one day see a formula change that leaves you wondering "what happened to my product?". Every time i find anything this good that always seem to happen eventually.
