that stuff is thick....

Does anybody dilute it or can it be diluted like Z6 by any chance?

Thanks...

I may go back to quikshine!;)

I just got my first bottle and I really love the stuff! Expensive, yes, but I think it's worth it.

I wouldn't dilute it personally, but it might not hurt either.

I don't know about diluting it...with the price I can understand why you would want to though.

It is the best carnauba QD I've ever used.

Todd,

Have you used Sonus Carnauba Spritz?

No I haven't...I have tried EF Clear Pearl and PB QD+...both were very good, but Crystal Mist is awesome. I've heard the Sonus was very similar to Crystal Mist...do you have it? I'd be willing to trade a few ounces of Adam's Detail Spray (no polymer or carnauba) for a few ounces of the Sonus spritz.

Crystal Mist and Sonus are completely different. CM is more of a quick wax and contains carnuaba. Sonus is an acrylic QD that works great with sealants like Klasse and Zaino. Both are wonderful products but different ingredients.

For those that would like a carnuaba appearance over their well-cured sealant, CM is a great product for this desire. :xyxthumbs

It would be interesting to see a quick review of the Sonus Carnauba Spritz and the Crystal Mist. If the Sonus is as good, it certainly would be a much better deal based on the current pricing.

Well, mtodde has Crystal Mist and I have Sonus Carnauba Spritz. He is coming down for Thanksgiving so maybe we can do a quick comparison.

I was thinking of using this product but now Optimum Car Wax ( spray product) came out and I see it contains both polymer and carnauba and a gallon costs about half so that will be my first new product for '05.

Yep, gonna keep a close eye on future reviews of that Optimum stuff too! Would love to hear your thoughts on it when you try it. :xyxthumbs

I love Crystal Mist but a more economical and equally good choice is the Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl. Dynamite on P21S and Souveran or other Pinnacle waxes.

Lee gave me a sample of the Clear Pearl. I liked it, but it isn't Crystal Mist...then again it is much more reasonably priced.

I've been using Adam's Detail Spray the last few weeks...it doesn't contain any polymers or carnauba, but it leaves an incredible shine.
