Ah, good. I always sorta liked Malm's stuff on a purely emotional level. My oldest Cyclo still has its "Malm's" label on it :D

On the cleaners = staining thing, I find it funny how some products that seemingly *oughta* stain trim don't (e.g., 1Z consumer line polishes) and how some that *shouldn't* sometimes do, at least if applied a certain way (e.g., P21s, which usually doesn't but sometimes does, and Blitz, which is supposedly awful in this regard).

In the old Socialist times (which were not that bad, btw) I got my first American car mag from a Dutch friend and saw a Malm's commercial in it. I wrote to them and they sent me a nice little info package. That was my first ever involvement into automotive detailing. The polisher, the chamois wringer (we were busily trying to figure out how to pronounce chamois), the products. Who knows... it's about time to order something from them...

Here's the garage queen that I mentioned 470HP. It's 14 months old and has 2200miles on it. It also has about 18 coats of glaze and wax. No sealants for thie kid.

The car of my dreams. A red Z06. Just bought a Z520 Bass Boat so I will have to look and admire.

What kinda products do you use on that baby?

They're several coats of ClearKote Red Machine Glaze,ClearKorte Carnauba Wax, topped with Malms and then DoDo Supernatural, that I just got. It really goes on & off easily.

which one goes on & off easily ?

whats your opinion on the comparison between the malms and supernatural ?

jon the vet is meant to be driven, don't not drive it so the next guy gets to. i own an '03 vet just turned 60,000 mi. on it, runs like new, just don't abuse it and it will give years of driving pleasure.

Heh heh, and here I was thinking that his "garage queen" (scare-quotes intentional but hey, that's how he described it) gets driven quite a lot!

Compare to mine: '84 RX-7 24K, '85 XJS 18K, '01 S8 14K. I enjoy my cars as much as anybody possibly could, but that doesn't necessarily entail racking up the miles on 'em.
