Malm's extreme concentrate carnuba paste wax?

Never tried the paste, but I was a big user of their liquid back in the day. I'd expect the paste to be very nice but not Vintage-nice...more along the lines of a cross between #16 and #24.

I have it. It is very similar to Souvern Paste Wax. It gives a very deep glow, especially on Black-on my 08 Vette Coupe. Good as any new wax, including DoDo Juice waxes.

Malm's is damn good, it actually removes a little better then Souvern, its as good as about all of the current high end waxes,if your like most of us, you will try it.

Jon P. Nusbaum- Thanks for that direct comparison!

I take it that the Malm's is *not* a "brighter" wax than the Souveran, correct?

Any trim-staining issues? (I first started waxing the Jag's plastic/rubber trim with Malm's liquid and it worked great).

If it's OK on trim I might consider it...I'd like a reason to use a Malm's product again

Looks pretty cool, maybe I'll try some.

Quip#1- Heh heh, you could test it out on the plastic cowling of your wife's car ;)

Quip#2- Heh heh, if this keeps up you just might become my personal LSP tester ;)

By the time I really *do* get the Jag back I oughta have some good ideas about what might replace Souveran on it :D

Keep in mind that most waxes that stain have some cleaners in them, even is their label say no. I have not had any problem with the Malm's,it's a pure wax, and it is really hand made in small batches. Porsche National is now reccomending it on their paint, which is soft.

I guess your busting on me. I mostly read forum. but as far as my use of products, I keep about $7000. of detailing products at all times. I currentlly have a garage queen 08 Black Vette Coupe, had it since last August, one of the first 08's. My arsenal includes about everything on the market. My real favorite are the products from ClearKote. All of his products work fantastic on Vettes, especially Black. For quikness type of work I certainly do like Adam's Products,he's just fun to deal with! Chemical guys has very good working products,Poorboy's is good,Zaino, and DoDo.

McGuire's Pro is good,OTC in my opion is watered down,Mother's is a pain

I've got experience, but you're right, I just haven't taken the time to express myself on this very good forum. I'll try to get involved.

No, not busting on your at all. I think its cool because I am notoursily loud mouthed and type too much anways. I think its awesome (seriously)

Hi Partner; I'am in Rockville, Porsche dealer here also carries the Malm's.

Trivia; Davis Autopia founder used to live in Rockville,Maryland before moving to Californis.

Mr. Nusbaum - If you don't mind, what involvement within the detailing industry to you share? You've claimed to have "knowledge" of certain business practices within the industry and I'd wondering at what capacity?
