How come it seems as if everyone has paid way more for their Hitachi than I did? I am still waiting for mine to be delivered and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. My cost was $95 plus shipping, which came out to be about $103. I ordered mine from coastal tools.

That was several months ago my friend. I have no idea why the price has dropped so drastically, but it is the reason why I've considered buying one recently. Even though I have two already. Including the M12 (Metabo). Could've bought 3 Hitachi's for that price.

some updates guys...anyone have more input since you have had recieved your hitachi's?

I'm quite happy with mine so far. And you can't beat that price for it. $100 for a quality, feature-filled rotary. Crazy...

TnM6i- i found out the warranty cards are super old... i thinksince feb2003 the started the 5year warranty so if anyone has a one year old card they are covered for five years as long as you bought your after that date...check the hitachi site for details

has anyone found out why the lower price...i know i read on one of the vendor website the owner from that website meet with the hitachi officials and agreed on a specail price and deal...im just hoping there not drop it or there is something new and better like the metabo when they redisgned the rotary

by the way lets see how long have you had your hitachi and have you had to use the warranty for anything
