Dang Ivan! I'm excited for you! Those details are paying for some nice stuff haha. ;)

Haha thanks. Yea I'm looking to upgrade a bit, and also, I just thought of this during my last detail a few days ago, if something goes wrong with 1 rotary, I'll have a replacement... it would suck big time if you finish half a car then boom haha

Thanks big guys up there haha... I had that site bookmarked already, but wanted to see any other places... I'll order from there since it seems many others are $200

Hmmm I was thinkin of buying one too. Wonder where I should order from...

I was thinking of AG or classic motoring or even top of the line, but seems like those two places that you guys linked has the best offers.... what's the warranty for those two places? Also what else would need to be purchased if I just bought the systems itself from thsoe websites?

By it at the cheapest place. The warranty isn't through the vendor, it's from Makita.

you would need everything else haha... pads, backing plate, etc...

I'm not worried about back plating and what not, I already have 6.5'' LC CCS pads so that dept might be taken cared of, but I might pick up some other pads as well. Anything you guys suggest along with what I have in my arsenal already?

I ordered the 9227 from Coastal Tool last night... can't wait to try it out...

I'm not sure what exactly are you asking for us to suggest? Extra pads, backing plates...

you won't be dissapointed, its so much smoother than handling a PC. I picked mine up about 2 months ago from coastal as well, couldn't be happier!

i actually never used a PC haha... I have a vector rotary but wanted a replacement to see the difference between $180 and $60

I've still been playing around with mine and this past Easter weekend finally got to use it on the hood and trunk and I realize I need to work out my fingers/hand more because they started cramping from holding onto the trigger. At the moment, it's definitely more of a workout compared to the PC.

I also realized I need to learn to use the trigger lock feature.

ordered from amazon for $199 shipped

keep checking back. Amazon has had it for $179 for the longest time, but I noticed within the last month or so it's been fluctuating.

I don't know what Amazon's policy is on pricematching, but it's worth a try. You'll probably see it go down to $179 sometime soon.
