Look at the bright side. More business when the weather clears and all your customers need details. :nixweiss
That is what everyone thinks but with the now shorter days, any new business has to wait until I catch back up again. Rain is
never a good thing for the detailing business. With all the sprinklers, trees, birds, bugs and dust, I don't need rain to make the cars dirty.
All rain does is take away days of work. :angry
Enjoy the time off. You may not get any for the next few weeks trying to get everyone's vehicle back in shape. :wavey
I caught up on my sleep but with my sister's wedding the last weekend of October, I was already planning on taking that Friday through Sunday off, then two weeks later doing the same thing to go see my son play college football. Not a good time of year to take off because with summer driving over and the holidays rapidly approaching, I am slammed as long as the weather cooperates. When rainy weeks toss a wrench into that, it can be irritating to say the least-especially when the last 4 fall/winter seasons here have been wetter than normal.
Quite honestly, I'll take a year with not much time off after too much time off the last 4 with too much time off! :xyxthumbs
If I could get it to rain on Sunday nights, 3/4" an inch, we'd get all the rain we need for the year and it would never mess up my schedule! Now to figure out a way to make that happen....
