Make sense to have both a Cyclo and a PC?

This is from their site:

"We are pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2003, Cyclo Toolmakers Incorporated has acquired the fifty year old orbital polishing equipment company formerly known as Wonder Tool, Inc. and the Cyclo Manufacturing, Inc. Orbital Polishing Division

So I guess it is over 40 yrs. old!

Aurora40- Just eyeballing them with the backing plates off, the Cyclo appears to have a slightly greater offset than the PC. A few mm's or maybe 1/8". But again, that's just eyeballing it.

The Cyclo pads seem to last forever. I've had a LITTLE trouble with velcro adhesion on the cutting pads, but only when I was *really* leaning on it, trying to do rotary-type correction. The green polishing pads just last and last. The white finishing pads hold up great too, but those velcro slubs they're always contaminated with will drive you nuts.

WCD & Chris Y- I too ended up buying a second Cyclo! It's just one of those tools that some of us like so much that we want a spare. And it's sorta handy to keep one set up with foam to apply and another set up with MF bonnets to remove. Or keep one set up with the carpet brushes, as I did all last winter.

Oh, and the guy to talk with at CycloToolMakers is "Steve".
