Did these headlights a few weeks ago for a member on a local car forum.
This one was already sanded, but to rule out any defects remaining, I sanded away with 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500.
Compounded with M105 on PFW, followed by SIP on PFW, PowerFinish on Black Pad, 106FF Blue pad, sealed with 476S, and 2 coats of opti-seal 12 hours apart.
Passenger side:
After sanding, I lathered the lights in soap & water to make sure that nothing would interfere with the compounding.
After:
Driver side:
Sanded all defects with 1000grit, then sanded the entire lens with 1500 grit.
Once again, lathered the lens, and sprayed it clean with water. Dried with a microfiber.
