Majestic Solutions

Interesting, I'll have to investigate more. Seriously, for local use it's prime. Take note some of their products have silicone as lable read. Do remember some of their equipment was a bit pricey.

I wouldn't dare use that at full strength on someone else' car, I would dilute it to medium/low. I really wanna try there super green stuff, the guy said that is plenty strong for brake dust.

What is a body solvent?

I have a good feeling that CG makes thier stuff. I was lookin on their site today and noticed alot of similarities.

I tried pink poly, it's glossier, but I think it would last alot longer than white. I used it on a tire before I washed it. I sprayed Bleach-White on all tires and only the one with pink poly was still black.

The more and more I read about the info on the products.....It seems like PnB manufacture and produces a lot of their stuff and I think CG gets their stuff from the same manufacture..I am just being a detective that is all?:hm

I think they may be all tied together....CG....P&B and Warner...warner sells the same labels as P&B....

I did a google earth look up and CG has a big place...I think there was like 4 big buildings...so its more than just a store front....same with P&B.....

OK...Warner Chemical and P&B show the same factory locations...they are the same

It's off hwy64 at coorperation parkway at the end of the street.

I just think that their cleaners/dressings/some tools are decently priced and work very very well. And the fact that they are local, makes it even sweeter deal. I have tried one of their waxes and wasent blown away, but it was a decent product.

You cant go wrong wtih Poly-Pro though, I diluted it 1:1 and it works just like MQID. No greasy feel, streak free matt finish interiors.

I used the Poly Pro at full strenght on a badly faded VW dash, worked fine - though I normally just use it on tires and outside trim. Super Green stuff - full strength has replaced Eagle All Wheel Tire Cleaner for me, much cheaper and works better. As far as who makes this stuff for them, my guess is Malco. Malco is a huge company that makes tons of chemical products. I've heard, though I can't confirm, that they make the products for Presta. But, hey - let's think about this, Poorboys is made by whom? and all the stuff that AG sells - WG,DP, etc - who makes them, and Blackfire - rebadged Menzerna or Menzerna with extra herbs and spices? Does it really matter? I could design a compound or polish in my bathtub and have some big company make it for me - using my formular. The main thing about Majestic is they are local, friendly, and you can get a quality product and a good price.

the pads they sell at Majestic can they be used with the UDM? I might have to really consider the banana wax and such :)

I've tried the Super Green Stuff and find it works OK, not super like other boutique cleaners. I just use Wheel Wash by TOL and I'm happy.

Pretty much sums up my view :bigups It's a waste to spend big money on cleaners/dressings considering the volume. I do find there's a substantial difference in buying quality Polishes/Waxes.

I tried the Banana Wax last night. It was my wife's 05 Toyota van, already had two coats of Optiseal and several Majestic Solutions Spray Shine, but it had been a couple of weeks and she was itching to try something new - so we washed the van and put a coat of Banana Wax on. It was 86 degrees, 85% humidity and getting dark when we finished. The wax went on smooth, I found it went on better with long back and forth strokes instead of tight circles, it hazed up and I was scared it would be a be-otch to remove, it wasn't! It didn't dust or clump up, and on that burgandy paint it looked great. The only critism I have about Majestic is their web-site and product sheet isn't very detailed or descriptive, the guy in the store should have wrote it, cause he sure can tell you the differences that you'd never know reading their sheet.

My wife and dad just dont get it, they dont care for ANY wax at all, they just dont see the point! :( I did my moms car 3 weeks ago, the car came from carmax 5 years ago, and had never been more than washed with dawn. I washed it, clay bar, kaio'd it. My dad kept trying to tell me the gold class wax he had would cover up the "sand" paper feel, boy was he wrong, and he even helped with the KAIO...I really wanted to do another coat of KAIO, and then a KSG and a wax topper....I think i'll ONR it soon...

people just dont understand, a good looking car makes you feel better about being in it! :)

I'm soooo glad I married a detailing nut like myself, we "get" it. Wife suggested we go out for breakfast Sat AM and then go by Majestic so she could shop, I'm one lucky man!

wow, my wife would be like "are you done yet?" or "how much longer until we go and you are done spending...." I'm going to the beach (carolina beach) any places like majestic down there?

I don't know, it's been a long time since I went to Carolina Beach - I know I wouldn't know the place now. It was sweet when I was a younger and you could go and find a nice, clean room cheap as happy meal at McD's. You need to get your wife into detailing slowly, let her think it's "her" idea, start with something like - what tire dressing looks best and let her have some choices, before you know it you'll be having the sealer vs carnuba debate and she'll be swiping your brand new, never used before wash mitt.

as long as she doesn't leave my sealers or my waxes in the yard and run them over that is fine with me.... Maybe I can convince my wife to let me "swing" by majestic today? :)

back from the beach and damn the bird crap is ALL OVER my car! never been so happy to get home to wash my car in all my life! ONR time!
