Please point out to me where I referenced you in particular. I don't see where I mentioned anyone by name. My rant was meant to be more general in nature and not specific to any person or thread.

If you read the second paragraph of my post, you can see that I reference many things not mentioned in this thread. It was a collection of observations from previous threads on the topic of proper spelling and punctuation. You just chose to read one portion and think it was directed to you alone. Are you the only one who has ever referenced the grammar or spelling police? I don't think so.

I merely asked the question. Generally posts are related to the thread in which they are posted; if not, there is a reference to another source so that others besides the poster can understand the point being (or attempted to be) made. Specifically in this case, you made reference to a phrase used in the thread; it isn't out of the question that a reader would conclude that you were addressing that statement.
 
My friend sent me a text message a few weeks ago asking me if "Mackgulliers Gold Class" was a quality soap :lol:

Not laughing at his question, just the name :)
