M86 saves the day...1-step on a black Benz

Anyone familiar with the stuff? The dealer is claiming it will be invisible and will prevent paint chips from road debris. It is thicker than just a paint sealer and just goes on "leading edges" of the car like front grill to emblem and back of side mirrors. It supposedly does not have UV blockers so the paint will stay the same color over time. Costs $600. I live in Vermont where road salt and sand is definitely an issue in the winter, so I am attracted by its protective possibilites but don't want to ruin the look. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Been very busy over the last 8 days. Have done 3 full corrections and this one step. Its an easy writeup and was very impressed with how well M86 did.

New client and this E class Benz will be a lease return. Client did not want a full correction. In our email discussions, I told him that if I get 30% correction on a ceramiclear Benz, I would be happy.

No hose hookup in the area.
QEW wash.
Clay using QEW as lube.
Wheels/tires cleaned with QEW.

Moved the car into the client AC'd warehouse. :D

M86/flat white LC pad/Festool at speed 5.
Z6 wipedown.
1 application of BFWD.

Interior got Vac, cockpit premium wipedown and Z9/10 on leather. Sorry no interior pics.

In and out in 6 hours.

Scratch and shine:

Very nice job Bryan. It's amazing what the right product can do when it is in the right hands.:notworthy:

Bryan - what level would you call it now that it is done? Looks much better than 30% and is outstanding for a 1-step product on a white pad.:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

That looks great! Just goes to show that a solid one step product + a great detailer can often make a huge improvement. I'll be honest, if I had a black daily driver, I'd probably aim for that level of correction you achieved in the after pics.

On a side note, that is a very nice looking Benz. The wheels and debadge really give it a clean look.
