M205 Question

Hey guys, I've got a black BMW coming up, and the paint is in pretty decent shape.



I'm curious as to what combo you guys would go with on types of paint like this?



It is black, and the paint is probably a 7/10.



How do you guys think an orange LC pad with m205 would turn out, being orange is a cutting pad and m205 is a bit of a finish type compound?

solekeeper- In this case I think it'll primarily depend on which BMW black it is, the regular one or the stupid-soft one.



On the M205/orange, I don't like that combo as well as some other people do. *IMO* it's often a mis-match. I've used it, but I prefer something more like Griot's orange/LC Hydrotech tangerine if I want to get the most correction possible out of M205. YMMV, etc.....

hm, I'll tape the trunk tommorow and do some test spots to see what I come through with. I just got a bit motivated when I saw another member use this combo, and came out great. lol

Try M205 on LC white pad.

Same here, I would go with M205 and white pad.

I actually did m205 with the orange pad today, and it came out pretty well followed with m205/white!
