I've had very similar experience as you regarding both M105 and SIP. The M105 has a big learning curve, that's for sure. SIP not so much, as it seems very easy to get great results from it.

Unfortunately I can only tackle the technique when I have the opportunity to use it again on a vehicle that needs it. I don't know when that will be, but it won't be in the next few weeks for sure.
