When I first heard the positive feedback on M105 I placed my order for some. Now I found out after I ordered it that it should really be used with a rotary but it was too late and I figured I would give it a try with my flex anyway. I was VERY skeptical about using this product beacuse it is very aggressive and I wasnt using a rotary. Luckily I have a firend with a green Jetta that is trashed inside and out so I asked if I could give it a go on his car and he was fine with it. I checked the hood with the brinkmann and it was pretty badly swirled with a few surface scratches so I gave it a quick wash and clay and then got to work. I laid the polish in straight lines on the hood and spread it on speed 1 then quickly went to speed 6 on the Flex using a flat 5.5inch LC orange pad. The polish works very nicely and breaks down super fast. 1/2 the hood took me around 2-3 mins. I saw it was broken down and then buffed off and I was very impressed with the initial result. The swirls were totally gone and just a few light scratches remained. The finish was very smooth and I was a bit taken back by how well it finished down. I only had about 20mins to work so I didnt get to finish it further with 106ff but I would have liked to see the final outcome. This was a quicky job just to test out M105 w/ the flex and I have to say I am really happy with it. I would still like to test it more with the Flex to make sure its a suitable machine to use but so far I think its fine. No pics for this Jetta but a black BMW will soon get the M105 treatment and pics will follow.
