M105/205 VS Opt. Compound/Polish ???

Havent had any issues with my PC and opt compounds besides extremely long working times.

The original OHC lacked bite-I think it was due to the type of lubrication used. Personally, I think that for average work that Megs Ultimate Compound is the standard and 105 should only be used for extreme cases.

Feel free to have a look at tips in my sig for M105 use.

I don't really understand the "long working time" theory. If a polish or compound can get something corrected in a short period of time, why would you want something that takes longer?

I don't find #105's shorter work time a problem either. I could see a long work time as an advantage if you have a product that needs longer to achieve the same amount of cut but finishes down well enough (due to smaller abrasives) that it saves you a finishing step.

I want to like Optimum, but the OHC, OC and OP from few years back just didn't have the nads to do the job. I WILL try the latest - when they come out, anybody heard?

My understanding is they will be out in a few weeks. The new Optimum Hyper Polish has a lot more cut than I expected but it was designed with the newer (and upcoming) harder clears.
