Was coming into the house from the garage to get some pads and caught that on the news. Really sad to hear. 54 years old.. Damn way to early to go..

His music blew, nevertheless, it's sad to hear he passed. I know he had suffered a serious stroke not too long ago. He must have been in bad shape.

Last I heard he was getting better and preparing himself for a new album. I would suspect he had another stroke. I would agree 54 is very young.

I would say my favorite would be "Dance with my father".



If you look at this thread, most of the people that know who he is in the Northeast (NJ, NY) area. I feel like the people find him more popular than elsewhere. But that's just me. Besides, he died in Edison, NJ which is about 20 mins away from me.



BTW, what radio stations do you people in the area listen to? I've been listening to 106.7FM for a while now.
