LSP with a plasticy look?

What are some LSP's that give that hardcore laminated plastic look? A few I like looks wise:

-Zaino Z2 (non Pro)

-Duragloss 111

-Rejex

-Menz FMJ

Dan- I might have a different take on what's "plasticy", but I think the heavily layered KSG looks like that. My MPV actually looked like it was platic-coated/wrapped/etc. to my eyes. Felt like it too.

Interesting that you didn't mention KSG, given your experience with it  That's one reason I suspect we might define this look differently...

KSG gives paint a plastic look in a way, but not laminated in plastic. I'm thinking slightly orange peel looking, sort of waviness, not clear and uniform.

Klasse Sealant (pre-voc version) in my eyes was plastic looking.

Full Molecular Jacket gave paint a dipped-in-oil look to me.

Never used: the old Z-2 (went straight to the pro version), DG 111, Rejex.

For me too, older acrylics tend to look plasticky. But I never noticed a non-uniform, wavy finish... Colors do wash out with their silver ghosting from flatter angles, but unevenness... dunno.

According to the descriptions Rejex was very sterile (never tried personally). My Z2Pro is very bright, certainly artificial, but still has that something extra which prevents me to call it lifeless shine.

Cured 1000P can pick up the nuances of the shade of the color so either it can look from hi-def bright sterile (light neutral colors) to a warmer, but still pretty technical appearance. In contrast, Meg's #16 is also a neutral one, but has a very attractive richness - therefore it's full of life.

Zaino Z2 definitely has a plasticy look to it, looks like there's a coating on the paint and is very reflective.

<3 DG111, what I never thought though was that any LSPs looked like plastic. If we coated a car in something and told you it was say Zaino, for example, do you think you would think the same thing after we said "just kidding, its some oily luxury carnauba"?

Re FK1000P and M16, I have pretty extensive experience with both (on various paints) and while I certainly understand their uhm...."characteristics that not all will admire" I've never thought of them as plasticy  But I guess this is one *very* nebulous term we're discussing and different people will interpret it differently (add that to subjective opinions on how LSPs look and, well, :nixweiss ).

I would say 1000P is sugary(mmmm) but I do find M16 bright but not screaming with glossy "thick" looks. Awesome though on silvers and whites.
