Is Pinnacle Souveran really worth the extra bucks?, I use P21s carnauba wax
Also I read about Adams butterwax which is ablend of a polymer and Carnauba
any opinion on a blend like that?
Part of the answer to this question depends on the color of your car. Carnauba's look great on some darker colors and Sealents (like 4* UPP) seem to look best on lighter colors.
But, IMO, the answer is no - it is not worth it. You can get S100 for $15.00 at a Harley Store and the get a nice warm glow (S100 is basically P21S with a different name). Either way, you're getting products that are going to be very durable.
Now, if you were going to show you car, and subtle differences mattered, that might be different. But, for a daily driver, I don't think the price is nearly worth it.
One final comment, is that you'll get different posters who have different opinions on this issue - all of which are equally valid. And, those posters who are professional detailiers (I'm strictly a hobbyist) might have insights that go far beyond mine. Either way, if you had a dollar for every "Is Souveran worth the price?" thread that appeared here over the years, you could afford a lot of LSPs!
