Hi, I'm a new member to autopia. I've been reading here for 2-3 months and finally signed up the other day. I've been a member of DC for a while and a small time detailer for a few years.

I'm asking for your opinions on what lsp to use for this vehical.

Its for my brother-in-law. He has owned it for about 4 yrs ... and its a 97. No washing other than rain and the occational dawn and dishrag treatment once or so per year :nono . This pickup spends most of its time on gravel / work pickup. I'm going to be detailing this scratched up oxidized machine soon and i'm confident in my swirl removal.

I have the following for last/near last step products

I'm leaning toward sealant due to his poor upkeep record?!

AIO SG Wolfgang deep gloss PB EX Natty's ??

Is that the Emerald Green Metallic? If so I recommend Meg's #20 sealant topped with S100. Here's a couple pics of my old '98 Blazer with that combo -- prep was DACP:

considering your brother-in-laws upkeep of the truck, i think the klasse twins would be best since they would probably last the longest, granted he doesn't do another dawn wash. and if you see him at least once a week, you could also use his truck as a test bed for your different products. ;)
