Awesome job Scott!

All of the cars look great.

Looks like you are loving the Poli-Seal.

How are you liking the Ultrafina so far?

Scott,

By using the rotary, how much time are you shaving off on your details (compared to using the PC or UDM)?

Nice work Scott! I find the 8" 3M blue pad is very easy to control and just glides over the paint.

I noticed that too. :)

Rick-I like it so far, but the weather has flat sucked here so I've only used it once.

afinerdetail-I am saving significant time on full corrections but on easy two steps, like the OPS/OCW combo, the polishing time is about the same-but the rotary adds enough ooomph to polish more deeply in the same amount of time.

Scott,

Great work!

Thanks for all your input on the board.

I was hoping to pick your brain since I have a 2007 silver LS460 with black interior just like the one you show in your Click and Brag post. I don't have any swirl marks yet....thankfully. I was hoping to polish out my finish with Poli-seal with a PC using a white polishing pad. Do you think this will work without creating swirls? Should I use a different pad? I noticed that in your post, you use a blue pad. I've never seen one. I usually order my pads from CMA; I also have a green pad (but the green is more aggresive than the white pad). I would like the extra depth you achieved with your detail...but I don't want to introduce swirls.

Honestly, if you were closer to me, I would just hire you to do it instead of taking a polisher to my swirl-free car.

Thanks!
