Lowes carries the PC 7336 which is really the same thing as the 7424.

Yes get it at that price! That is the cheapest I've ever seen it! As said above, don't use the pad that comes with it, it can do more damage than good.

I'm going to check my Lowes to see if they have it for 69 dollars. For that price I'll buy a second PC to have a back-up just in case. :waxing:

i just called lowes and talked to customer service and at my particular store (may vary from store to store as it's a non-stock discontinued item now), they didn't have any, but she named a few in/around my area that had some still and mentioned they're marked at an advertised price of $65.45 (regularly $109). if you don't own one, NOW is the time to buy!

can i get the pad from the local auto store? like autozone, pepboys.... or do i have to order it online?
Your options locally will be pretty limited, so you're usually better off ordering them. Some vendors offer a kit with pads and a backing plate, and this is a good time to buy with all of the sales going on. Danase is offering 15% off right now with his Christmas discount (see link below):

You can order the pads on Autogeek. They have everything you need. I just ordered some Edge 2K pads. They don't require a backing plate and it's essentially 2 pads in 1 because you can flip it over and use the other side. And, yes, you can use the PC to apply paint cleaner and polish. But you should do wax by hand because you'll use less product. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey guys, just got back from my Lowe's in CO and they had the PC for $59.50! Picked one up to get rid of some of the swirls on the hood of my Scion tC.

just got back from lowes a while ago, and while the regular price was $109, they had it on clearance for $89 which still is an excellent price (surprised they still had them as they're a non-stock item/discontinued item to carry). i mentioned that some of their other locations were offering it for around $60-65 on clearance (called one and they confirmed it, and said to call them back to match the price if needed), and the lady who was helping me said it depends on a per store basis still. well i asked for the manager (was totally being cool) and with no hesitation, he gave it to me for $65 and i bought two (may see if another friend wants the other one). one friend was going to buy one for x-mas, but i thought i would surprise and save him some money. now he's all excited and soon i'm going to take him to local auto detaling supply store so he can buy the bp & pads. i'm a pretty nice guy for going all out of my way for him, eh? :chuckle:
