Many feel motorcycles take no time at all due to their size but how wrong they are! Motorcycles are far more intricate than a car or truck could ever be take far more time..........and look at all that chrome!!

Amen brother and my sore, cut up fingertips tell the truth about that fact.....
This one is a 2013 HD Hertiage Softail Classic.
I find that for me 16 hours spent (with breaks of course), has become a standard.
If I was to spend any less on it I would feel like I was cheating and that I did not do a through enough job on it.
