Just picked up our new Milano red TSX the other night. Looked real good in the shade . Went out at night and under parking lot light it looks a though it was steel wooled. Lots of swirls and thin white scratches. You cant feel them in the paint.

My question is do I send it back to the dealer or try to fix them myself and if so how .

Thanks in advance!

Pg,

Prior to letting the dealer correct the error, have a look at the cars in the lot and see if your's is a one off or if all the cars are the same. If they are all the same, don't let them touch the paint and work a deal such that they'll pay x amount to have a professional detail your car.

Then meet with a few pro detailers in your area until you find one you trust and have them do the work. It's been my experience that most dealers have terrible detailers. They'll probably just end up making it worse.

I'd suggest you posting where you are located and perhaps someone here can help you out with a recommendation.

Agreed...Im sure you'll find an autopian near you if you post your location. Sorry to hear about your car, but Im sure you'll have it looking great in no time!

Id evaluate the service the dealer could perform for you. Ask them how they will remove it, or see if they're willing to let you take it to a professional. Then ask questions about the process from either place.

Or:

Fork out about $225.00 on supplies and products, and you can then maintain the cars condition to your exacting standards.....forever.

Thanks so much for your responses!!!

I am near Crstal River Fl ( Ocala).

What type of eqipment would I need to remove these.

Thanks in advance!!
