Looking for a new tire coating product???

sadly I have run out of my turtle wax Jet Black Endura-shine Tire coating. It`s sad that one of turtlewaxes best products that use to be available everywhere was discontinued. Any how I am looking for suggestions on what to switch over to. If any of you have used the Jet black coating and now use something else let me know. I liked that the TW was cheap but good, looking for something similar or at least something with similar results even if it costs a bit more.

I too am a TW lover! I don`t know of another tire product similar to the TW one. I`ve still got half a bottle of TW left before I start using CarPro Perl again. Good luck finding anything that matches TW. I really can`t understand why they quit making it.

tire coating? well I checked out the mckees tire coating stuff first hand at detail fest and was even able to chat with them about it and I bought a bottle that night from acc online.

I have yet to use it yet but I`m pretty excited about it once I get around to it.

These two are good options.

TUF SHINE Tire Clearcoat

McKee's 37 Tire Coating

Nick over at McKee`s has released a new formula which is more glossy than the original. I am not sure if Autopia is selling that one yet. But if you want to the new formula ordering and placing that comment on the McKee`s site is the way to go. Both work very well. I`ve used the TW tire coating and I don`t miss it.

Reminds me... I have some tire coating I forgot I had! oops. Either the DP line, or the older (?) McKees version.

some day.....sigh

Prep is time consuming, especially if you`ve used silicone based dressings in the past, but once you get `em clean, Tuf Shine lasts for months.

The prep is worth it. No need to mess around with tire gels every couple weeks.

I just ordered the new formula tire coating from Mckee`s 37.
