Looking for a new car wash....

Well, I have settled on EX and will probably try a topper for it. I always used Z-7 in the past, but it looks like I should get a new wash to use. What would be some suggestions for this combo? I would like to use something I can find locally, but I also want something decent. As always, I know you guys will come through for me!

If you have to get it locally, I second SRL for the Meguiars Gold Class. For the price it can't be beat.

OneQuickGT1 - The Meg's GC doesn't have enough lubricity for me. I like the Griot's (suggested it to 2001civicex and others) but if you don't want to mail order (or don't like the $30/gallon price), you might find your local PRO dealer and look into their Cherry Suds. Supposed to have high lubricity and I THINK it's only about $10/gallon, though I could be wrong (there was a good review a few weeks ago).

I emailed Steve (Poorboy) with this exact question. He said that Z7 would be fine, as would the Blackfire wash that I have. Now, I don't know if either one of those would be good to use if you top with a wax. I think I'm going to pull my Sonax out of hibernation and give that a try. People seem to really like the Einszett Raindance too.

Target sells Megs. gold class for $10/gallon. Can't beat it for my wheel bucket. I personally use Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo or EF Powerwash +, my fav is Pinnacle- but expensive. Both smell great and are very concentrated.
