Looking for a good price on 4500K HIDs...

Take a look at PHILIPS...they make conversion kits for cars where they give you new reflector/lenses that have the ballast and starter built in...they are designed to be plug and play.....

They are called XENARC I think...pretty cool because they engineer the housing and reflector for the HID bulbs.... A bit more pricey but much better quality IMO.....

Would the fact that my low beams are projector lenses help out at all? I put the 9005 conversion in my wife's car and then I took them right back out again when I pulled out of my driveway and instantly got flashed by oncoming traffic. Never had that problem in the teg. Could the projector lenses be helping out a bit here?

I did the 9005 Silverstar conversion in my Accord (non projector) and I've never been flashed. Definite improvement in light output in front of the car, but the beam seems a bit narrower.

Jngrbrdman,

You still looking for kits? I recommend you sticking with Phoenix Mircrolite kits or McCulloch. Both are put together well, with proper mounting of the 9006 adapters. I've had the Phoenix Microlites (4300K) 1in my car for the past 3 years -- they are awesome and I have no regrets.

I can get you the PML kit for around $375...let me know if interested. McCulloch sells nice (5500k) kits in the range of $550.
