Looking for a detailer around Boston who loves a challenge!

I've been reading these forums for about a year now, but this is my first time posting. I decided it's time for a professional detail for my car, since I just don't have the skills to do it myself. Here's my situation, and I hope someone around Boston or Brighton (MA) will be up to the challenge.

MY CAR

2001 Acura 3.2CL Type-S

Nighthawk Black Pearl Exterior / Parchment Interior

109K miles

THE BAD

It's almost all highway miles, so the front has A LOT of rock chips. In fact, almost the whole bumper and front part of the hood are covered in them (along with some spiderwebbing). The back of the car is actually in much better shape, but the paint all around has lost it's richness and shine, and there's plenty of swirl marks. There are also several scartches around the car, but none of them are too deep.

THE GOOD

The interior is very clean... I take very good care of the carpets/panels/leather, so not much work is needed there. Also, the engine bay is decently clean, and it doesn't need much work. Also, I have a lot of cleaning/waxing supplies that I bought last summer (Clay Magic, Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax, touch-up paint, etc).... you're welcome to use them along with your own supplies.

EXTRAS

The doors also have 3 small door dings. I don't expect this, but it would be nice to find someone who can remove these, as well. Lastly, the rims (17" stockies) have some heavy curb rash. If you (or someone you know) can refinish them, it would definitely make my day. As I said, I don't expect to find someone who can do ALL of this, but it can't hurt to ask...

ABOUT ME

I'm a full-time student, so I don't have much money to spend. However, I do love my car and I really want to see it shine again. If you have the skills, or even if you're a new detailer trying to make a name for yourself, let me know (I have a lot of friends who are very serious about car customization, so I could put in a good word to them)! Send me a PM and we can talk about it.

Thanks!

That doesn't look too bad..

The rock chips are small, but they're there... all over the front bumber and hood. Plus, you can't really see the spiderwebs and haziness from that far away.

Or maybe I'm just obsessive because it's my car... either way, a detail would help. :)

I know there are a few people around our area who could help ya out more than I could. I'd give it a whirl, but the most I would be able to do is just polish/glaze/seal/wax ur paint, vacuum and dress the interior.

Im sure someone here will chime in and can prob fill in the chips, and get rid of the curb rash.

To fix your curbed rims call Rim and Wheels works in Newton or Rim Pro out of Tewksbury. Both will make your wheels like new for around $200 I beleive. Hope this helps and best of luck with your car's finsih.

I contacted both places a while ago, but they said they'd charge me something like $110 - $130 per rim. :shocked

Best price I got was about $80 per rim from that wheel repair van ("Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists"). Still, that seems kind of high for just machine refinishing... Do you have someone you know at those places that can give me a deal, though?
