Look what I had a chance to work on this PM

Nothing is wrong with that transformation. I see what looks like some micro-marring, but the PC may not be able to do any better. Only you know if the PC will get more out as you know how much effort you put into it the first time. But hey, it looks damn good to me. That third pic is Awesome. Don't lose sleep over it, looks like a job well done.

tdekany: I think it looks great!

Honestly, sometimes there is only so much you can do. The trunk looks like its pitting which is pretty normal with neglected vehicles, especially domestics.

What was your LSP?

tdekany, your customer is going to be thrilled beyond belief. It may not be the job you would want if it was your car or if cost/benefit was not an issue. You've been hired by the customer to accomplish a job within set parameters ($$$).

Only a small proportion of the populations is going to appreciate what could be done if money was no object.

Be pleased with your work...it's a great job.

Nice pictures too.

thanks everyone.

The car did look nice. Looked better then what I thought it would.

Sean - I used NXT tech wax (first time). Used a polishing pad with the pc on 4.

Her husband drives a darkish blue Lexus (GS) and he usually has the dealer detail it but after seeing hers he now wants me to do it. Supposedly he was very impressed. :D

PS: After finishing Jim's Miata the other day, I put out a few flyers on some nice late model cars in the parking garage and got a call to do this new silver BMW comvertable on monday.

There was also a red M3 convertable there as well - I'd like to detail that! Maybe in the near future.

That car came a long way. Don't get discouraged...some defects can only be fixed with a paint gun!

Great job! Based on the before pics, I think you've done the most that could be on that car. The hood looks amazing!
