Logo design...

Last set (for this week haha)... I made the L a bit larger and scaled down the AD since I thought the AD was too large before... thoughts...

Yea the "A" in Auto and Detailing are pointy where as the A in the LA is well rounded... Just seems off.. However the "L's" match pretty closely...

Oh gotcha... well the text underneath isn't final yet... I'm working more on the actual logo..

1, 2, 3?

The flip side of it being very distinguishable is that it could also be confused with the actual LA logo, and unless you're playing on that comparison I think it hurts more than helps. Just my opinion, that's all.

I know you are not gonna like my answer but the above logo puts yours to shame......If you insist on keeping your design you need to incorparate a "D" in there or simply put it doesn't make sense.Unless you wanna be known as just "LUSTR AUTOMOTIVE":work:

We're just not on the same page with this and don't have the same outlook on what I want and what would look good, but thanks for your opinion either way..

EDIT:... to explain what I mean... the above, while nice work on the computer, to me is a shield with writing inside... I'm looking for something with a hint of writing, but more of a Mercedes-like logo... you see it and you know what it stands for...

I understand trying to create a brand recognized through your logo, and believe you're on the right track mimicking the circular Benz star. Good work.

haha I wasn't really mimicking it... someone else came up with the circular idea and I just played around with it a bit... but MB is a great logo to copy haha

Maybe mimic wasn't the right word, but the circular silver reminds me of an emblem- be it the Benz star, BMW flag, or what have you.

Gotcha... thanks for all your help/advice...

After a lot of feedback, online and in person, it's a toss up between these 4, more so 1 to 3... (even more so 1 and 3... the woman really likes #3 whereas my best friend likes #1 and I'm half/half)

Last two choice (I hope!)

Made 2nd one a bit thicker around... 1 or 2? (best to compare when saved on desktop and viewed one after the other, back and forth)

Reminds me of my eye tests. 1 or 2.

I like the look of #2.

haha thanks... #2 is what I plan on going with as I'm sick of editing it in basically microns on paper but want opinions on this last 'batch'... thicker or thinner border basically

Go with your gut and just print off 500-1000. Cards are cheap and go so fast that if you end up not liking it or customer perception isn't what was expected, you can go another route and only be out $30.

You get to a point in the creative process where sometimes it's better to just submit the design rather than spend more time tweaking it.
