Little green machine ?????????

Here is a link to reviews just scroll down the page to view them.

Walmart.com: Hoover Steamvac Silver Carpet Cleaner: Appliances

No Thanks, I would rather have Your review, as I am a bit sceptable of online reviews :notme:

You are correct it does not have a heater you must pour hot water into it.

Unfortunately this is the only one I can find that has a 8ft hose all the rest either don't have a hose or they have a 18 inch hose.

The reviews all say this works really well, I have my water heater turned up to where it is really hot and since I got to add water anyway I don't mind using the hot water. Just one less thing to go bad on it.

In the reviews someone ask how hot of water you can use and the reply was use it right out of the tap and it leaves the carpet warm.

Someone else also said they had used it with cold water and the cleaning solution worked nearly as good.

I'm going to town tomorrow and look at all the different models and see what I can come up with.
Maybe I can buy as an option a long hose for a model that comes with a short hose will just have to check it out.

I want to be able to clean carpet and furniture as well as the vehicles so I need a bigger machine with a hose attachment.

Hold your horses...:surrender

If memory serves me OCD-n-PDX purchased some kinda unit that wasn't a LGM and seemed to be quite excited about it. Maybe he will chime in or you could shoot a PM his way :hmmm:

I was going to buy the LGM, but I bit the bullet and went with a Bravo extractor. Only $400, 2 gallon with a 3.5 recovery tank...I figured I would have to get one down the line anyways, and was too unsure about the Little Green Machine

So how do you like the Bravo? I assume for that price that its the unheated version. Works as well as advertised??? Thanks in advance

I've looked at that unit before online and find it to be an interesting looking little spotter. Light and manueverable. It does hit a pretty nice price point. No heat and a little lighter on the pump pressure (55 psi) than what you might hope for, but it may be adequate, item 1 of interest as you post your follow-up review. Did you go for the upgrade for the increase in lift (105" vs 85")? Which accessories/tools did you opt for? How is access to the solution and recovery tanks? Looking forward to your review.

Edit: I see grisby has expressed a similar interest in your opinion.

Well the LGM is much cheaper than the mytee lite. If funds were available, I think anyone would step up to a better unit. Have you found a model that is comparably priced?

Also, does an extractor replace a vac? Or must you first vac anyways? I've been looking into the LGM mainly because its more in my budget than any of the nicer units. Thanks in advance

I had forgot about this thread.
I did buy a large one made by Bissell it has a heater and a long hose with several attachments for furniture or vehicles.

I just used it this week on the living room it works really well it cost a little more than twice as much as the LGM but it is much more powerful and can be used to clean all the carpets in the house.
