i try put together a review of little green Bisell extractor.

is a light unit , good for mobile detailers or car owners with a lot of cloth inside the car or for fam with kids & pets :D

when you remove stain from seats or when you clean them you may wanna work the whole piece where the stain is, is very important.

i have a unit similar with this:

tools: extractor , a upholstery brush , a microfiber towel ,apc+ meguiar`s, water , vinegar. last 3 in sprayer bottle.

i first pre-soak the seats , 2-3 spray with water , light on seats , if carpets than i add more water. sometimes i use the hot water but the spray is too wide and i can`t use it in interior.

i follow with 1-2 spray of cleaner apc+ , let it sit for few minutes , i agitate the solution with the brush.

using the extractor with pressure on extractor head i get most of the cleaning solution out, than i spray some more water agitate again and extract , i wipe with a mf towel if any residue left.

for final i use vinegar, spray few mist and agitate with brush, than extract.

here are few jobs bisell extractor handle. i would say is a good unit but should be more durable.

CosimTX:

You've made the satement that this unit should be more durable. It's designed for occasional use and not in an every-day, continuous hours application. It's OK for what it was intended, and yes, it is better than using a shop wet-vac for extracting.

It sounds like you are detailing for a side-job and not just as a hobby. If that's the case, it may be time to step up to an industrial extractor. You may find that after going through 2 (or more) Bissile Little Green Machines (LGM) in a year that the money could have been spent on an industrial extractor. Granted, you will be spending 8 to 10 times the money on the industrial model, and it may be hard to justify that kind of capitial expenditure, but you may find that in the 3 or 4 years of life of the industrial model, you will be saving time because it take less time to complete the job and it does a (much) better job of extraction on interiors, especially family vans that seem to be highly neglected, and are the more common vehicle to "clean and detail" for most detailers.

That said, you know how many and the type of vehicles you do in a week or month and maybe the LGM fits nicely into your detailing routine.

By the way, very nice work on the van (not sure what the make and model it is) and the Mini-Cooper.
