who makes that product thats a liquid water spot remover?

i got some water spots on a black car that need to be taken care of whats the best way to tackle this? polish, swirl remover, wet sand etc

Frankie ..you post a lot of questions..lol ;) but we like that :D

Water spots...without seeing them and knowing if they are really etched in it is hard to say...always start with the least abrasive product you can ...a mild polish ...then move up the grit scale....
problem sometimes is, that if they have been there a long time they may have gone too deep into the finish and you may hurt the integrity of the clearcoat by going too deep or abrasive ....
Can you tell us how long they've been there? can you feel the edge of them with a finger nail? ....we need a little more info to help ...

yeah hi steve

actually not sure how long they have been there because its going to be a used car purchase.

however it seems like you can slightly feel the edge of the water mark in the paint, basically the outline of the water droplet. if i wet my finger the stuff in the middle will come off but not the outline of the spot.

i just want them out but dont want a mess of swirls and other paint eye saws from using to agrressive of a approach. im hoping they come out cause i really like the car but i couldnt deal with the entire car covered in water marks.

so what should i do or suggest to the dealer
