every time i apply this i get streaks and alot of small dots all over my vehicle that even hard rubbing wont remove. they go away after the first wash though. do any of you guys know what could cause this? i did the swipe test to tell when to remove the wax and i have a bunch of meguiars supreme shine microfibers to remove it.

While I only used the NXT a few times, I never had that problem.
Applying it too thick would be about the only reason I can think of for your residue problem.
Try one area with a really thin application and see if it still happens.

if the residue u speak of is like little white specks in the paint left over from the product, then let me tell u that u may be applying it too thick. as long as u can barely see it on the paint its gonna work fine. i got the same issue with upp when i app,ied it too thick on my front bumber.

one 1/4 sized dot of a product or 1/2 a centimeter thick "X" of product is enough to do two body panels, one hood, ect.

The dots could be residue showing in rock chips in the paint.
The streaking could be due to the paint having some oxidation on it.
Just some thoughts. Any pictures?

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have a red truck and love the nxt. I changed my applicator to a foam pad from maguires. I also spray my applicator with thier quick detailer to get it wet so it doesnt absorb so much wax. I then could use a lot less wax initially to get it to apply evenly. And try using less wax. I also have noticed that if I go over the area several time with my applicator to ensure even application it helps prevent the blotches. and if nothing else try a qd after you have removed the wax and buff the hell out of it. :beer_smil

Thats very strange........Meguiars NXT is white but dries to clear this is done on purpose so that if it gets on rubber seal etc it leaves no white behind once wiped.

As well upon removal it should come off with almost no white flakyness at all. I have done many demos at trade shows with it and never had that problem. I do find if applied to thick it does leave a greasy or blotchy effect that some Quick detailer of Final inspection removes. Maybe like mentioned above its some bonded contaminates.
