1. Washed with gold class soap

2. Clayed with Mothers clay and Sonus lube

3. Klasse AIO with Sonus DAS green pad

4. Klasse SG with Sonus DAS blue pad

5. Extra stuff..trim, tires, and windows

My clay died on me. I used it once before on my car and then when I was about 60% of the way done with this one it stated to fall apart in my hands and stick to them. Think its time for a new one. Does Sonus clay lube come in the gallon or in some size of bulk? I went through 90% of the bottle doing this car.

I know a bunch of you guys do Klasse by hand but this thing is just to large and I'm too lazy. I had to do some parts by hand like the roof. Both of the Klasses were very very easy to take off with a Sonus Der Wunder Buffing Towel. I used about one drop per panel. Just out of curiosity what would some of you guys charge for what I did?

Overall I'm very happy and can't wait to do my car this weekend.

Looks good. That would probably be about a $140 detail. It should take a little over 3 hours since there was no swirl removal/deep polishing.

 Great job. From the looks of it . It wont be your last!!!

That looks awesome! Excellent job on the detail. I'm a fan of that color and you did an outstanding job of making the finish happy.

Same here since it sounds like it needed some heavy claying but no serious polishing.

Looks really good, nice pics too, they really show off how wet the paint looks. :xyxthumbs

Thanks guys. Next car I get is going to be silver. Dam black car now shows everything. I did not really think that I needed to polish it. Under light I could barely see anything. Its a only about a year old so no big problem. The biggest pain was the amount of dead worms all over the bottom parts. I also put on another coat of SG this afternoon.

I have the same model and color SUV that you have. The silver color is hard one to really get to pop. I have tried PS and NB with no luck, seems that a sealant enhances the metallic in the paint more than a wax. I have tried UPP, Rejex and Zanio which are close to the same look with Zanio seems to be more durable than UUP and Rejex seems to have about the same durability as Zanio. My I will have to SG sometime!
