Limited Edition Natty's Red

I'm seriously not trying to play devil's advocate with these questions, so no flaming. I'm just curious about a couple of things.

1. If it has a high oil content, then does that mean it is a major dust magnet?

2. How long before these oils evaporate and the appearance changes?

3. How do these extra oils affect durability of the wax? (I'm really curious about that one. I've never had the time or facilities to test different waxes to see if there is a correlation between oil content and durabilty.)

I think I have other questions, but those are good for now. I'm intrigued, but I've got some concerns before I dive in to a new wax.

I use Souveran & NB interchangeably on my dark blue Jimmy, WOWO style. I find no difference in holding shine or beading or slickness. I do find that the Souveran has a wetter look; I find that neither is particularly a dust magnet.

It really does smell nice. It works even better. I just need to find the time to do the rest of my car with it.

I ordered some as a b-day present. Hope to try it out this weekend. The P5 is definitely needing some TLC after the recent rains.

Jim

I'm not sure where these "OIL" rumors started, but they are NOT true!!!!
Natty's Red does NOT have more oils added to it, but it does have higher quality ingredients and a few added gloss/slickness enhancers to make it shine better and be slicker to the feel.
It is NOT greasy to the touch after application, it will NOT attract more dust, and it WILL last as long or longer than Natty's or Natty's Blue.:bigups

I just thought I'd clear this up as there seem to be discussions about this topic and I've received some calls and e-mails.:)

The rumor probably started in my post #20 of this thread. At the time I was trying to answer my own question that I had posted previously. DC and PoorBoys didn't have the product listed at that time. I pulled the text from AG's site and this is how it was advertised. My text was actually a quote. You may want to discuss this with them. I just checked and their text still says the same thing.

It's been fixed;)

They were probably just seeing that you were out of stock on the wide mouth jar, and didn't realize there was a "normal" jar available too.

I ordered one yesterday. Does that mean there is only one left??? Maybe I should have ordered 2.

Steve was thinking about making it a once a year kind of deal like the SS+W is. So you will be able to order some more sometime.

the poorboys website said out of stock a while ago. The distributors have some though.

It is still on there it is just in the regular mouth jar not the wide mouth jar poorboysworld.com

Which of the 3 (red, white or blue) Natty's would be best for a metallic silver paint?

Do you have any swirls or imperfections in the finish???

The reason i am asking this is because NR will magnify the finish and whatever is on or in the finish. So if you have swirls on there is will just make them more obvious.

Edit (read to fast oops)--For the silver i would probably go for the white because it will make the metallic POP out at you the NR and NB are geared toward darker colored cars.

I put Red down then 2 days later put White on top of that. Made the silver wetter and the metallic pop.
The Red on top of the White muted the metallic imo but it was wet.:passout:
