Hey all,

Here is a video & some photos from a Lexus I recently worked on. The water-spot etchings were so bad on the horizontal panels that I had to resort to Surbuf & 100/101, even on the glass!! The finish was then further refined with PolishAngel Invincible 9H Primer & protected with Color-Matched Cosmic, specifically formulated for this paint code.

Followed by PolishAngel Invincible 9H Primer. I have found this polish works very well as a 1-step polish, perhaps an alternative to Perfect Finish as it has tremendous cut with a super high-gloss finish. This also has the added benefit of not needing an IPA or Panel Wipe before applying Cosmic 9H

Polishangel Palladium, super easy to use metal polish. Either I have been getting very easy metal to polish or this works much faster than what I am used to.

Hood reflection shot just a short while after applying Cosmic. It takes Cosmic 24 hours for the full gloss & hardness to set in.

Reflection can sometimes be hard to capture on a Pearl White but this was reflecting quite nicely, the pictures don't really show it all.

This car was a real pleasure to work on, 4 days in all. :)

Nice work! Someone really beat the crap out of it, didn't they?

Thank you!! While it was in pretty rough shape, the owner is dedicated to doing what is best for the car. My job was to take the car to the next level and direct her towards what is best for it. :)

Nice Travis - Can you explain the process/concept of how it gets formulated for this paint code? Do you mean a lighter metallic color? Or Starfire Pearl specifically?

Supposedly formulated to the specific paint code, not just a lighter color, david. I've been tempeted to try an estoril blau specific just to see if this is just marketing or not (that the added color improves the visuals).

Sorry I missed this David. Yes, it is to the exact paint code. I have a bottle for Electric Gold at the moment which is yellowish gold in the bottle. I would upload a picture but my phone won't upload it at the moment. Perhaps this evening I'll be able to.
