Lexus GS Hybrid vs Vintage

Took delivery of this one about 2 weeks ago and was just dying to get my new Zymol Vintage wax to meet my new car!!! :D I actually was the customer this time and asked a friend (full-time pro) to do my car. Wash, Clay, and a nice Vintage hand job!

Even though its a brand new car, the "befores" looked dull compared to the "afters". Unfortunately, no "before" pics as it was an overcast day and pics couldn't catch the color difference. Anyways, enjoy!!!

sexy car! is the new one much bigger than the old GS?

Thanks. I actually had a 2GS before this one, and it is bigger, but actually feels smaller inside. Probably because of the instruments, console, and center console, just feels more cramped. This one's a hybrid, so over 100hp more than my old one! 342 vs 225 :soscared:

Nice to see one posted, one other member has one too, looks sexy and very quiet.

Who? I'd like to compare notes :chuckle:

Oh yeah, but he has the dream car! I actually got to sit in the LS hybrid and fell in love all over again. The only way they would let me test drive it was if I bought it.

Your 2nd gen must have been a GS300. I love the 300HP my GS400 has but it is a '99 and I must admit I have been studying the new GS Hybrid. Your ride looks great. I love these cars and have a hard time justifying a new one when there is NOTHING wrong with mine now .... it only has 90K and runs like brand new.

Sign me ...... jealous!

Yeah, it was a 2GS GS300 SportDesign. I've never driven the GS4 because I didn't want to end up with one. :chuckle: I'm sure if you go and test drive one, the 1999 and 90k will seem like 2 reasons to get a new one :bolt

Although I get 24-26mpg on the GSh, I've come to the conclusion that I didn't just buy it for the mpg, but the hp. Let us know "WHEN" you get yours!

The Lexus LS460/460L/ and 600HL are the closest to automobile perfection in today's industry. The LS beats any of the BMW or Mercedes series, by far.
