I dropped by Big Lots today and found some Lexan Microfibers. $2.50/3pk. Does anyone have any experience with these? I tried the cd test and it looks good. Thanks.
Lexan is a polycarbonate resin so in theory it could be extruded into a very fine fiber but I've never heard of it being done. It's pretty tough stuff with some odd properties, I'd be very wary of that if I were you. In fact, I have serious doubts the labeling is accurate, can you post a picture?
Since “Lexan is a GE trademark for their polycarbonate resins maybe it’s a generic microfiber of whatever type that GE has approved (or is getting a licensing fee) for cleaning their products?
Okay. I couldnt find my camera. I think its out in my car. I did pick upon of the packs and it says on the label- Microfiber detailing cloths for Lexan sheet & other plastics. Sorry about the mix up. I think i'll try them on one of the ambulances at work. Thanks again.
