have you guys noticed that this is posted in the wrong section by a guy with only one post about a pointless subject? does this not appear to be spam of some sort?

The southern rock list is great but we can't forget some groups that have stood the test of time: Rush, REO, Styx, Head East, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden...etc.:thumbup:
 
Since Im apart of the younger generation around here everyone would probably assume I love new age hip hop. Not the case I hate it! But I do love some old school 80's-early 90's rap. But thats about it. My passion however is in European Metal. All genres from power metal to extreme gothic. I love it all. Plus I love all the early metal stuff as well from Ozzy, to Iron Maiden to old school Blue Oyster Cult. I especially like European Metal with female front vocals. Here are some of my favorites, to the guys that like hard rock you should definitely check them out:

This is easily the #1 Female fronted Euro band out there. They sell a ton of records and their music is truly amazing.

This next one might sound a little harsh in the beginning but the way she can change her voice from screamo to normal singing is absolutely stunning.

This is one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time. She is remarkably beautiful and has the voice to back it up. A lot of people i introduce to her music says she sounds like Evanescence but it sounds completely different to me.

Not a female singer here. But if I was to have a theme song playing where ever I went this would be it. They are a Swedish metal band and truly are my number 1 band of all time. Just because they sing about Vikings and thats what my heritage is about (Danish). Plus I love the lead singer and all of the acoustics. Their drummer is just awesome. I saw them in person at a small venue in St. Paul this past April. The venue maybe held 300 people so it was like being the only person there for a personal show. Absolutely the best concert I have ever been too and Ive been to a 100+. At their bigger shows they have a viking ship on stage, fire, and guys in viking gear fighting with swords. How does it get any better than that?

This is my second favorite band of all time. They are from Britain and have a very unique style. People in the metal community either love or hate them.

As you have probably noticed i am extremely passionate about music and if anyone likes any of the songs I posted I have thousands more I can post.
