Lets really talk about HD Nitro Seal From 3D Products

Car is scheduled in and I spoke with Barry on the application of the product the other day, have also read all the other threads on this product from Dave and Thomas so I think I should have no issues using the new gear. Thinking to also put it on my "Beater/commute car that I have which is a 05 Nissan Sentra(Silver) which the wife takes to commute in and sits outside 24/7 which would also be a great test bed for protection abilities.

One thing I have not seen mentioned is the removal of the product, as mechanical friction(Compouding) is required for a product like AQuartz/CQuartz to remove the coating and was wondering what the 3D 3 amigos(Barry/Dave/Thomas) think or maybe Tunch can chime in on this possibly. Will have some thoughts by next week or so.

Hey I was gonna answer that for ya until I read the three amigo's part! lol Its not like we have our own form of latin or something. I can see it now Anew show show called " The Bing and the Bob show! lol It would be like Batman and Robin! I could see it in 3D film words coming at you like "Certified Tightness" "with the quickness" . lol I'm really feeling this now.

1 - I'd say no - sealants don't usually stick to other sealants.

2 - Why would you want to? Ruin the look? On paper, NS blows 845 out of the water if it indeed lasted 12-18 months.

Can this be used on top of KSG or topped with 845?

Great post and video Barry. I love my 3D combo; even saves time from deciding what to use!

Just an observation, you wore gloves when applying part A but not when applying B, any reason for that other than comfort/choice?

Thanks for all you do, brother.

I reply "Bing did he pay us yet?" his reply "More than he ever thought he would" mess with "The Bing" and you get f'ed -up..............."but Richie this is going to hurt profits" ......"Ohyeah" opens trunk "Brake yourself" with the cash "Humpapotamus" fade to black....................

Part A is very oily, but not harmful. Barry is just afraid of getting a deep oil treatment on those dry and cracked up hands. Gloves can help with the cleanup, especially if you plan on doing the windows while Part B dries.

Can any of you speak to how many cars we will be able to do with the standard size offering of this product?

How long of a shelf life does it have once opened?

My daily just got Opti-guard but it sits outside 24/7 and is generally not as well cared for as it should be :(

I think this stuff might be the ticket for my track rat though (996 GT3).

Andy

DOH!!!! Dumb storms in PA! MY package from 3D is awaiting delivery, but "due to inclement weather" is delayed.

By the way Richie, that is a sweet '66 in that clip....

you can get a two mid size cars three if your really try.

you have a couple of days. you can extend the shelf life by re sealing it with an inert gas (like nitrogen), or maybe vacuum seal it.

nothing wrong with opti guard for a dd. had it on my dd for a little over two years now.

give it try on the track rat, couldn't hurt.

After testing it out, as long as the cap is tightly sealed and its kept in a cool & dry area, you can go up to about a month before using it.

That is great news Ben... Was a little concerned about lining the cars end to end so that there wouldn't be spoilage. Looking forward to it this weekend!
