Let's hear some suggestions

Hello from Macedonia, my firs post here. I followed this forums, but it was time to register and ask a question for which I`m concerned a little.

I have a lot bookmarks of topics that I can`t open after this transformation, I`m sure you are working on this and I will be able to open them when I need them, mostly are from Autopia Detailing Wiki.
 
I keep getting pm notifications on top right.

These are from old pm's.

Even if I read them, they appear new. (don't want to delete em)

On Autopia.com trading only of products was allowed and on Autopia.org ads were allowed for selling. Will selling be allowed on the 3D group section ? On .com my link to my face book page was not allowed but on .org it was as well as on AGO. Any idea of what the new policy may be ? I see my fb link is currently attached but I don't want to break any rules.
 
Not sure if its been mentioned but how about listing the thread page numbers on the main page next to each thread so when you are browsing the threads you can click on the last page of a thread instead of going to page 1 first and THEN having to click on the last page?. Hope that makes sense.

It does make sense thanks. Your suggestion has been added to the list and we'll be adding it shortly.

First of all I would like to state that this isn't my call. That said, having watched the trade vs. selling forum switch back and forth multiple times, I would hope that we would have a trade only forum.

Selling forums seem like a simple enough concept but each time selling was allowed we had members who demanded that the staff get involved for one reason or another. More to the point that the forum was somehow culpable for transactions gone wrong. That by itself wasn't a good thing but many times it came down to members not involved with the transaction picking sides and the types of conversations that followed. I don't know why this changes when only trades are allowed but for whatever reason the problems go away. Literally no issues over several years. Perhaps the expectations are less.

One could certainly argue that the sampling isn't large enough to base a decision on these results alone but we've went back and forth a total of 4 times. Just my 2 cents.
 
I started getting notifications today and I see the new posts view now has a gray background so progress.

No problem. Was just curious. Trying to stay within the rules and wasn't sure what the policy was going to be. Thanks.
 
Yeah Paul, as I indicated, it's not my call and I certainly don't make policy. Just giving you my feedback having watched it from the other side. Still can't explain as to why this happens. Your input is certainly valued.
 
When I choose page 6 or Last Page, it rarely ends up on the numbered or last page. It usually arrives somewhere in between 1 and last page.

Try clicking on a couple "multi quotes", then click on Quote. It should open a new text box with the quotes you've selected. If that doesn't work, PM me the browser your on. (click help, then About to see which version you're running)
