Leather Stuff

An important note:

Please follow the directions on the bottle. Yes, Leather Stuff NEEDS to be THOROUGHLY BUFFED to work its best. After discussing the final formula with my chemist, the addition of a softening agent and UV A&B absorbers may make the product a little slipppery if not fully buffed. By adding protection to the formula instead of just a cleaner/conditioner, a protective layer is being left behind. Remember that on most late model vehicles, leather seats are coated and not bare leather, so the buffing part is extremely important as these seats can not absorb.
I hope this helps some of you who have read conflicting reviews and reports on Leather Stuff. :)
 
Thanks for the heads-up. I ordered some leather stuff from you this week and will be receiving it today. I plan on testing it out ASAP.
 
Mike I agonize over bringing out new products as the directions are the hardest part to perfect. Once they are printed they are not going to be changed :no:
Getting people to read them and follow them is very frustrating. If people could only read the pm's and e-mails I get daily, or hear the phone calls that could easily be answered by reading a label. Yes, some of my early labels are lacking the information that came out months and years after their initial introduction, but hopefully some day I'll be able to update and revise them.:)

In the last few years I've become the type of person who reads directions. I came to the realization that I can use a new purchase faster and with better results if I just take a second to read first. With complicated products that require assembly you usually end up reading the directions in the end anyway because you put it together wrong. So, I just start with the directions now. I think it's just become a habit that has infiltrated all my purchases.

Steve, maybe you want to have a disclaimer on your site telling people to read the label first?

Do you know that I have a note at the top of my order page that first explains that ordering on line is only for the Continental US all others must send an e-mail for shipping costs and also in red it asks that Shop owners contact me directly for wholesale pricing...:yes: Should I tell you how many of each of the above don't read that :rolleyes:

I simply just answer the questions as they arise and thankfully I still have the time to keep the business on a personal level where I can recall names and people who I talk to and hopefully can guide them through any problems they have. I've made some good friends this way too :hug:

I had forgotten about this post. Just realized that I had been detailing the wife's purse with your product that you sent to me with that last order. Thanks Steve!!

I also did her shoes and 37 PDA cases that my wife has. All cleaned up well!
 
So let me get this straight... Is this product sort of like an AIO for leather? If I have previously unconditioned leather that is very dirty then this would be a good product to clean as well as condition and leave a leathery smell behind?

yes it's like an AIO for leather, vinyl, plastic and rubber, but if it's extremely dirty I would recommend using an APC or other cleaner first. Yes, it also leaves a nice fresh leathery scent, but we didn't want it over-powering as only a fresh hide can really maintain the scent of leather for prolonged periods of time.
 
Mine just arrived this evening so I was out there in the driveway in the dark trying it out. My seats were already clean but I recleaned the drivers seat with woolite/water just to get the old conditioners off (about 3 or 4 different kinds), and I put it on the passenger seat without cleaning it first. Massaged it in with my hands per the instructions and let sit for 10 min, then buffed off. Looks, smells and feels great but I'll have to wait till tomorrow to drive it and see how they feel sitting in them. So far I really like this "stuff" and my hands have never smelled this good! LOL..........what a dumb thing to say, but you'll know what I mean if you put it on by hand. :yes:

This is true. during the holidays i placed an order with steve then i changed it a few times through some emails . Because of the frequent changes i called the # on PB's site to verify we were on the same page,guess who picks up the phone you gussed it,Steve. and on this day he had spent the entire evening unloading the leather stuff you can hear the twinns in the backround and Steve was preparing to cook and feed the kids.
