Least Amount Of Zaino...

Anyone do a medium sized car (like the newer Civics, Corollas, Accords, Camrys) with 1/4 oz of Z-5P or Z-2P? Trying to get a feel for how much I am using. I usually need about 1/3 oz.

1 oz (half) is normally what I put on

1/4 oz. would be ideal, but 1/3 oz. would be alright also.

FWIW, I use about 1/3 oz. per layer when I have Zaino on the WRX (applied by PC).

How many coats are u talking about here? 1 or 3?.

I know it sounds werid, but ever since I started using a syringe to measure zaino and started using a Pc to apply it, 1/4oz would give me 3 coats on a avg size car.

I'm talking about 1 coat on the above mentioned cars (just panels no wheels). I did 1 coat of Z-5P by hand using a Meguiar's Gold Class MF yesterday using 1/4+ oz with ZFX. Waited 10 mins and off it came very easily with a mf towel. I'm doing 1 coat of Z-2P with ZFX tomorrow on my 06 Civic. For some reason I find I need about 1/3 oz Z-2P i.e. more Z-2 than Z-5.

Sonus Blue finishing pad, Have you tried using the syringe method? I did and that is what really helped me use the least amount of zaino possible.

Also, keep in mind that was on a full size car, something like a 92 cadillac deville.

Wheels, windows, and paint on a midsized car - I am using about 1/5 of an ounce. Anywhere up to 1/3 of an ounce is still pretty good though.

Just completed another coat of Z-2P. I must be getting thinner and thinner. On top of 3 coats Z-5P and 1 coat of Z-2P I used 1/2 of the 1/3 I mixed which equates to just under 1/5 oz. It must be the layering that I have done this week. I am done with my car, a 2006 Civic Atomic Blue. It was alot of hard work and my first time using the Zaino System. Must say that I am very impressed with the glow. A glow unlike any other. The key was to prep fanatically: my process was Clay, Menzerna IP, Z-PC, Z-5 Pro, Z-6, Z-2 Pro, Z-16.



Now to protect and maintain it with Z-7 and Z-8. The rest should be EASY.
