LC White Pad Done after 3 vehicles

Well I realized the velcro backing was starting to peal off when I was hand washing the pads. I went ahead and spun the white pad on the PC to get the extra water off and the pad ripped and went flying across the room. What these cost I just expected they'd hold up a little better. Has anyone else had any experiences like this? Is there a more durable pad I could purchase?

How long were they in water for? As well as the other times you washed them?

THat may be your problem.

Yes I believe so they came along with the PC Poorboys kit I received - Orange, White and Black. Actually my orange pad is already falling apart as well I must be using too much presure or doing something wrong.

I had one that a small portion of the Velcro pulled louse and I super glued it on and 3 years later it is still fine.

I've left pads soaking for days in various cleaning solutions including APC, dish soap, Murphy's Oil Soap, and DP's pad cleaner w/o a problem. I've used hot water, warm water, and outside tap water. I doubt that is a contributor to your specific problem.

wow 3 years nice - lol. I haven't had mine for 3 weeks probably. How do you clean your pads?

Soap them up kneading/brushing.
Rinse and inspect.
If necessary soap them again or proceed to rinsing until water runs clear. I stand them on edge and allow to drip dry.

If anyone wants to give up the method of pad cleaning that works best, Im all ears!! Microfiber goods are another item that I need to get squarred away on in terms of how to clean correctly.

Thank's!!!

Glenn
