Layering zaino Z2 pro

just remember you car won't look its Z-best until you apply 75 coats for maximum depth, shine and durability :D

:rofl If 2 or 3 coats wont do it, it shouldnt be done. 2 or 3 Coats of Z2pro rocks !

I find 2 coats of Z2 pro to be just perfect. I agree layering carnuba serves no purpose. Carnuba not on my black car!!

From the Zaino website.

ZFXâ„¢ is a Zaino Show Car Polish acceleration and appearance additive. It offers near-instant cure time, reduced surface distortion, enhanced polish flexibility, and improved bonding to both paint and additional layers of Show Car Polish. In simple terms, ZFXâ„¢ vastly improves paint surface appearance and increases polish durability.

ZFX has both functions: acceleration of crosslinking and acts as a bonding agent (bonding is used in this discussion to reflect a "glue-like" adhersion (Van Der Waal forces)).

Hope this hopes. :wavey

blkZ28Conv- Thanks for the information:cool: I do appreciate it :xyxthumbs but the things Zanio quotes are natural forces and have nothing to do with what Zanio says his chemist adds. I'm not trying to spark an argument it just my nature to find out no just "how" things work but "why". Thanks

Same here Jon. :bow

It is very interesting trying to decipher how things work in terms of discussing detailing. :xyxthumbs

My best "guess" would be that there is something augmenting the adhesiveness of the final cured product when ZFX (along with Z1 w/o the accelerant effect) is used that improves "bonding" (increases the VDW forces). There is a whole industry based on just doing this and producing ever better products - glues, tapes, bonding agents, etc.

Maybe a reaction occurs with both ZFX and Z1 which is quite similiar to mixing an epoxy. Literally causing the Z polishes to bonding (glue) itself to the paint. :nixweiss
