Layering the Red?

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
I've never been a fan of layering the same product...like 3x layers of paste wax....for some reason I can't see the difference....wonder now if I would see the difference if I layered the new Nattys red

I did two coats on my black 442 in opposite directions and it may be my imagination, but I think it looked deeper:wow:

we will have more feedback from rabbi when it comes to layering as i know he can't just put on one:notme:

Well I'm going to give it a try this afternoon...I put one coat on yesterday...second today....that's going on top of....the blue that I put on last Sunday

I did a test last night and left it on a panel overnight...it came out better and came off easier in the morning:notme:

spread it as far as it can possibly go ..dampen the applicator with the QD and also give the panel a light spritz before applying so it can spread further and thinner:dnaughty

Its just what I was doing...but I may have not gone as far as possible before dipping back in....will let you know and post some pics this afternoon

OK Second coat is on....the car really came out shiny...and that's hard to tell in some cases in these pics....I'd say that I'm done on the layering

I also put some PB wheel sealant on for good measure

I'll be layering many many times in the next couple weeks!I'm a big fan of the Several Coat Club.I'll be using Spray and Gloss on my pad and for the spritz after I use the Red alone for 3 or 4 coats.

One. I'm waiting on the mass production. This wax is too good not to be added to Poorboy's product line.:passout:

I agree with you on that one....I just got mine but since Steve said that he was running low I ordered another one today

Probably a smart move .I'll have to make due or until Mr. Steve makes more.
I should be able to get plenty of coats out of this Red that I have. With June about gone Red should last the summer.

On my dark blue Mazda it definitely makes the paint look deeper and with more gloss than the Natty's Blue. It looked so good, I repolished the hood so that I would have a clean slate to apply just to admire.

You guys are killing me! I lost my Debit card and my bank stil hasn't sent me a new one and I'm dying to order some red :(

a followup to this layering thing...I did two coats one day apart last week....the second was noticeable very noticeable...the car shined better than I can remember....however over the weekend I had to wash the car...the light blue hazing that I find consistent with paste wax on my jet black car came back....if I touched the surface it was some what oily feeling...in other words I could smudge the surface...like there was oil the car....washing the car takes this away and with some QD it comes out perfect again.....I think in part the reason that I see this on my black ride is that, its a non-metallic paint and is unforgiving of any imperfection and I do mean any!

+2 on this...and I haven't even gotten mine yet...and when I went to order it this morning it said out of stock...my mouth dropped...until I saw it was just the wide container and there was still some left of the other one.

The way people are describing this it should become a permanenet line.
